Rosalind Lanthorne, a seasoned Information Technology professional took a “leap of faith” and quit her day job to complete her Masters Degree. While looking for the “big IT position” for over 2 years, Ros was asked by a friend, if she would assist cleaning a senior’s home. Although a bit hesitant, Ros said “YES”!

What she learned was the process of cleaning was a very “meditative” type of work because it provided “quiet” time to contemplate her universe. As the home gradually became organized and the old, stale energy was changed – Ros noticed the homeowner, Christa had changed too. She had someone to talk with and they soon became friends. Ros had not experienced this type of personal connection and mutual appreciation in her corporate work.

Leading her to believe that through the act of cleaning, both the cleaner and the client’s outlook on life can change.

Through word of mouth advertising and personal referrals, other clients were added who wanted a “Zen of Clean” experience in their home.

Ros is now works with many wonderful homeowners, rental property owners and realtors from other cities to clean vacation homes and condos.
The “Zen of Clean” seed has been sown.
